I think GSN has to be female, because it seems to have its period of shuffling around the schedule every month. Here’s what’s going to happen in the week of October 6th. For the most part, it looks pretty good.
*Say goodbye to Bill Cullen’s Blockbusters on weekdays. In its place at 9:30AM ET is Tic Tac Dough. And with this, at 9:00AM ET is Match Game.
*Whammy! didn’t last long in its 7:00PM ET slot, did it? Going there is old GSN favorite Lingo which went longer than I expected without GSN going, “Whoops, we messed up. Here’s new ones.”
*More Russian Roulette is a good thing. Especially when it replaces Donny Osmond Pyramid weekends at 4:30PM ET. Russian Roulette is also at 10:30PM E on Saturdays.
*Osmond Pyramid is getting a few more slots, though. It’s replacing Dog Eat Dog weekends at 6:00PM ET which will make many happy I’m guessing. I’m a big fan of Dog Eat Dog, I will gladly admit that. But I have no idea how it’s stayed on for so long with so few episodes. If the show is that popular, why has GSN just not revived it? It’s cheap enough.
*Always awesome John O’Hurley Family Feud will be seen on Saturdays at 7:00PM ET replacing Greed. Again, I have no idea how Greed has stayed on for so long.
*We already went over the last two. Bingo America’s new season will be seen at the awful timeslot 6:30PM ET which screams, “We have no confidence in this show at all,” on weekdays and weekends at 4:30PM ET, replacing the 2nd airing of Russian Roulette. But hey, we have Money/Rich List to look forward to for further changes.

Not bad changes, I’m still wondering when and where they’ll put The Money List. If it’s on weekends and not opposite football, it’ll do well, on weekdays, not opposite WOF/J! or any syndie show for that matter.
Anticipation……….

I’m actually kinda bummed to see Greed go. Lately it’s only been on once a week, so it’s not like they were running into the ground like they used to. Can’t complain about DED though.

So there’s no Greed at all on the schedule? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I hope they bring it back soon.

FINALLY! It’s about time DED is gone. 4 years of reruns with only 26 episodes was really way to extreme and with that said, the final show from the 2004 changeover has been put to bed.
Overall the changes are great. With Greed finally getting a rest AT LAST I can now watch GSN pretty much all day everyday now.

Still no Joker’s Wild? I’m still puzzled as to why it hasn’t been added to the schedule, considering how high it (as well as Bullseye and classic Pyramid) finished on last year’s Viewer’s Choice list.
As for DED, good riddance. Now get rid of The Weakest Link, Lingo and Millionaire, put classic game shows in their slots, and we’re back on track to showing signs of improvement for GSN.

I’m surprised that GSN doesn’t put “Tattletales” on the schedule somewhere - I mean it has almost 4 years worth of episodes from 1974-78, almost 2 years in the 1982-84 version, and a syndicated season to boot! Surely it hasn’t dated THAT much over the years, as that was the BS excuse GSN used for Peter Marshall’s version of “Hollywood Squares” when it aired.

Any idea what season of MG will be at 9am? People are bitching about this on Invision anyhow, so I doubt it matters whether it’s the Rayburn era, or MG ‘90. As long as isn’t that joke ‘98, we’re good to go. I’d venture a bet that they’ll abuse the hell out of the syndie 79-82 version yet again.
