Noah Berman Wins St. Louis NVC

On November 2nd, GSN’s National Vocabulary Championship crowned its second champion.  Noah Berman collected $5,000 in St. Louis and will be traveling to New York City to compete for $40,000 more in the championship on February 26, 2006.  Berman defeated 88 other competitors in order to win the grand prize in the NVC attended by US Representative from St. Louis Russ Carnahan.  Carnahan stated “We just finished the World Series of baseball, and now we get to have the World Series of words.”  Berman won $5,000 by completing the final 10 question speed round in 1:13.
