Adlink posted some new clearances for the new syndicated game show Temptation. For your information, it has cleared 70% of the nation, so it is a firm go. Here is a list of some of the new stations.
WWOR/New York, KCOP/Los Angeles, WPWR/Chicago, KDFI/Dallas, WDCA/Washington, D.C., KTXH/Houston, WFTC/Minneapolis, KUTP/Phoenix, WRBW/Orlando and WUTB/Baltimore. Additional clearances include WTTA/Tampa, KCPQ/Seattle, KMYQ/Seattle, WOIO/Cleveland, KTVD/Denver, KPLR/St. Louis, XETV/San Diego and WLFL/Raleigh.
More stations will probably pile in as the show comes closer to debut. Temptation is hosted by Rossi Morreale.

Am I right, or am I right about WOIO? :-)
(They’re the only ones that have aired syndicated game shows recently- although WKYC had Karn’s first season for a year)
New Schedule prediction-
9-10 am Family Feud
10-11 am Let’s Play Crosswords/Temptation
11-Noon Price is Right

Wow! KPLR in St. Louis has picked up Temptation and Crosswords, looks like an hour of fun! Hopefully they don’t run against major competitors.

I found out last week that as I predicted, WTVZ, Norfolk’s MyNetwork affiliate, also plans to carry the show.
I’m guessing it’ll air back-to-back with Feud.
Still no “word” on “Crosswords”…

KPLR prediction…
5:00-5:30
Let’s Play Crosswords!
5:30-6:00
Temptations!
I also have the reason why Temptations is called Temptations…
There was an ABC game called “Temptation”…. it’s been off air for 40 years… I learned of it @ [[pageoclips.com]] (downloadable clip of Tepmtation avalible!

Let’s Play Crosswords! was picked up by WOIO/WUAB in Cleveland. As much as I’d love 3 hours of games in the morning, I don’t see it happening unless WOIO is laying off the talk show crap and letting sister station WUAB handle it. The absolute worst case scenario is that Temptation and Crosswords! get banished to post-Craig Ferguson slots…
Any news on tryouts for Temptation or Crosswords? I’d give my left nut to try out for Temptation, but Crosswords sounds like a fun game and certainly a closer traveling distance for me.

Wilkes-Barre isn’t on the list. That worries me. But if they cleared Let’s Play Crosswords, I do remain optimistic they’ll clear Temptation.

I just returned from working six weeks in Sydney Australia. Temptation aris Monday -Friday at 7pm on Channel 9. I really got hooked on it. If the U.S version is anything like the Australian version, it should be a big hit here. I noticed that the logo is the same as the the one for the Australian Temptation. Things I liked: The video wall for the fame game, and behind the contestants. Two 20-second sprint rounds, and the money vault. This is where a contestant forks over 15 dollars, then hits his button to stop the spinning numbers from right to left in the vault. The 60 second fast money round is there there. The bonus round is get 10 questions right in 60 seconds which adds 50,00 to the contestants cash account. Win 6 days, a $70,000 automobile could be yours, win 7 days, you win all the prizes. Go on to win 8 days, you win the prizes, plus they double the money in your cash account, which could amount to $600,000 I saw a man win over $800,000 in cash and prizes. Now thats an exciting game show.

1. Any word on Buffalo?
2. Any word on tryouts?
3. If Rossi Morreale doesn’t work as host, how about Mark Wahlberg (who is now off Antiques Roadshow), Pat Finn (90’s version of Joker’s Wild), Todd Newton, or maybe Kenny Mayne (ex of ESPN’s 2-Minute Drill, a short-lived sports version of the classic British show Mastermind)? Or perhaps…oh schmut, I can’t think of anyone else who’d be good and who’s still alive…
