Thanks to our friend Andy Pei who clued us into a new show that’s casting. It’s called What It’s Worth, and we’re being told it’s a bit like a Price is Right or Shop ‘Til You Drop style show. On the contestant application, they are asking questions such as “Do you go to yard sales?”, “Are you a bargain shopper?”, and “How good are you at estimating the price of an item?” If you live in California and want a shot at the show, click here to go to the Craigslist page.

Somehow, I have this suspicion the show is a cross between the failed ABC game show ‘Bargain Hunters’ and ‘Antiques Road Show’ (currently co-hosted by Mark L. Walberg) on PBS, with some elements of the aforementioned shows.

Sounds a lot like the UK’s Bargain Hunt, which can be seen on BBC America. Basically, pairs of contestants buy flea market stuff and see what goes for the highest prices at auction. Cheap as chips!
