Thought tonight’s 1vsC was a good show. Raul Torres is a regular type guy. My hubby and I met him in line at the second cast call for last November. He racked up the $$$ on the show, but the mob prevailed! Anyway, maybe there’s hope for my hubby to get into the mob. Raul was a character. At least he got the ham sandwich the casting guy promised him…or did he?

Deal’s producers: If you’re an average everyday person who just lives a regular life day-to-day, don’t even bother applying to be on our show.

The sad thing is, not only does it become difficult for me to root for these “characters”, but the other primetime shows are following this trend of casting contestants. I guess when there’s no real skills necessary (other than being able to count to 26), it doesn’t matter too much…

Last Man Standing will be fascinating. As for the other sweeps stunts, oh dear. And by $2m, you know they mean Double or Nothing, so treat those as $1m games.

I am really curious to see how the “last man standing” ep of 1 vs 100 goes. Seems like that might actually be a more compelling game show format than the way it is now. It’s too bad Identity won’t be making a comeback during sweeps…

What’s the deal with sweeps? Why can’t they base the advertising spend on TV ratings the whole year round?

Deal needs to ease up on the contestants. Although from watching the latest episodes, it seems that they want over the top contestants. Like myke25 said, NASCAR lady, the spanker chick and from last night, the homecoming king.

That gives me an idea to do my audition tape when I am drunk because I am a happy drunk and laugh all the time and all that good stuff.

I just hope 1vC doesn’t start to do that crap. Otherwise, the boring people are gonna be in the mob permanetly.

DoND should forget all the special shows they do and concentrate on finding contestants that don’t irritate the crap out of me (NASCAR lady and the Spanker come immediately to mind…though the Spanker WAS very cute!)

The other DoND themes….eh.

Last Man Standing on 1 vs 100 seems like a great idea though. I am looking forward to that.

Last Man Standing on 1 vs 100 is going to be awsome. Now this is the kind of special episode that we can all get into. A show that will focus on the abilities of the players, and only the BEST will win!
