Fox does not create shows, neither does NBC. They are pitched shows by production companies. NBC WAS PREVIOUSLY PITCHED the "Don't Forget the Lyrics" idea and chose not to run with it. Low and behold they start a small/cheaper production company and 'created' the singing bee. Looks like NBC has the rip-off. Just so you know. Fox does not create shows, neither does NBC.
