That’s a cool-looking logo actually…
I hope they use the original Bill Conti theme. Any word on Adamle?
I’ve heard that Mike Adamle will not present the revival.
That new logo rocks. The first one percent: so far so good, lol.
Go to the site, and listen to the intro music that plays with the two guys jousting. That sounds awfully familiar…
Is that a remix of the original theme, for those with more musically-inclined ears? The original was excellent (it was by Bill Conti, how could it not be!?), and I think is definitive of the show, much like TPIR and its theme.
As for Adamle, I’m doubting he’ll be asked to return. NBC will try and ride Hulk’s bandwagon for all they can, and hope for the best. Nevertheless, if Adamle is chosen, my confidence in the show and respect for the “NBC game show department” would quadruple, as it could also possibly mean we’d see some of the classic gladiators return… ;)
The song is from the 94-95 seasons of American Gladiators I believe. It is the series currently playing on ESPN Classic right now.
Knew it sounded familiar, that’s why. It is a remix then of Conti’s original AG theme. TY Jackson :)
ROTFLOL,
The gladiator in the animation would be disqualified for not having both hands on the stick.
