National Question Tour for “Trivial Pursuit”

Posted by Alex Davis On June - 7 - 2008

A representative from the new syndicated game show Trivial Pursuit: America Plays left a comment on our site (which I can verify of course) about a national “Question Tour” to get questions and teams for the new show. In Trivial Pursuit, all questions are submitted by home viewers and if “America’s Team” wins the game, the home players may win hundreds of dollars. The only thing to be aware of is that the tour is starting really soon, so you might want to get ready as soon as possible.

Hi all

We are going to be at the following venues during the week of June 9-June 15:

June 10- Licensing Fair, Javits Convention Center, New York City, NY
June 11- Paramus Park Mall, Paramus, NJ (11A-7P)
June 12- Woodbirdge Center, Woodbridge, NJ (11A-7P)
June 13- Natick Mall, Natick, MA (Outside of Boston) (1P-9P)
June 14- Natick Mall, Natick MA (Outside of Boston) (11A-7P)
* Please note- Times are approximate- Check with the mall for any changes

All you need to do is come to an event, fill out a release and information sheet, and ask your question(s). Then start watching the show on September 22 and see if your question pops up. I’ll post more information about future events in the coming weeks. Thanks for all your interest in the show. And if you want to be a contestant, auditions will begin in July and tapings begin in August. Once the website and information is available for that, I will post that as well. Good luck everyone.- TPAP

Questions can be about ANY topic or subject. Remember, questions which have a play along value for most or all of the audience are better than those that only cater to a very select few.

Definitely try to make it to these and tell them who sent you. There’s an eight hour time for each location so you should be able to make it there. It looks to be a very fun show so definitely go for it if you can.

  2. Neville Said,

Yeah, I was wondering how they were going to do this for their first season. Wish I were still in NJ right now! That’s okay, we’ll see if they head on down to Georgia anytime soon.

  3. Rick M. Said,

Wow. Really nice to see how they’re focusing on the Northeast only. Maybe someday they’ll remember that the U.S. has two coasts and drag themselves out West for those of us in WA, OR and CA. Then again, hope springs eternal.

  8. Trivial Pursuit Guy Said,

We will be posting further stops on the tour in the coming weeks. Also, within a few weeks, you can post your questions to our website if you can’t make one of the tour stops. So there are many ways you can be a part of the show. More info to come…
