Some people were complaining that there were no question casting call locations on the West coast for the new syndicated game show Trivial Pursuit: America Plays. They responded today by sending us a list of the new locations you can go, submit your questions, and potentially win hundreds of dollars from home. More of these will come soon, along with casting calls, so stay alert. This is also the logo the show is using as of now. Here are the locations.
Tuesday, June 17- Los Angeles, CA- Farmer’s Market (Fairfax and 3rd Street)- 11AM-5:30PM
Wednesday, June 18- Glendale, CA- Glendale Galleria- 11AM- 7PM
Thursday, June 19- Riverside, CA- Galleria at Tyler- 11AM- 7PM
Saturday, June 21- San Diego, CA- Seaport Village- 11AM- 7PM
Sunday, June 22- Chula Vista, CA- Otay Ranch Town Center- 12PM- 6PM
Little tidbit just from us: we’re hearing from unbelievably reliable and close sources Mark Walberg might not be hosting the show, as there might be issues with The Moment of Truth and FOX. We’ll keep you updating, because we really want to see Mark get to host another great quiz show. For all the crap work he does, he deserves to get one awesome quiz show every now and again.

Make Marc Summers (Nick’s Double Dare)the host. Plus, he can co-produce it too. Plus, that guy has been aching- for an adult hit- for a long time now.

You know, anyone else available would be a huge step down from Mark Walberg. I don’t think anyone else has the chops to really do a game show like this. Without Walberg, the game goes south, IMO.
In response to captparis1, Marc has enough to fill his platter (no pun intended) on Food Network. He produces and hosts Unwrapped, he produces both Ultimate recipe Showdown and Next Food Network Star, plus he still is actively producing game shows. Didn’t he produce Unan1mous?

No Julia (Roberts!?…lol) Unan1mous was produced by J.D. Roth of Fun House fame. Roth also produces The Biggest Loser on NBC.

I will drop out of school and host this, if they’ll take me! :)

Heck, I’ll host it. What they got to lose? But in all seriousness, it’s a shame that Mark Walberg probably won’t host this, he would’ve done a good job (plus he’s a Cubs fan :D). And one more thing, when will it come to Louisiana, Arkansas, or Texas? I would be happy to make a road trip (I’ll be even happier if they came to Shreveport-Bossier City).

I hope they make a stop somewhere in the Midwest and close to Milwaukee…

I wondering if this casting call will make it into WA state, particularly Seattle.
