“Millionaire” Auditions in Houston and Kansas City; “Deal or No Deal” Needs Audience
Casting for Who Wants to be a Millionaire‘s new syndicated season, hosted by Meredith Vieira, as well as the ABC 10th anniversary edition hosted by Regis Philbin is moving away from the east coast and heading across the country. Next stops: Texas and Missouri. On Monday, June 29th, Millionaire will be at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City (3200 N. Ameristar Dr., Kansas City, MO 64161). Auditions take place from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. If you live in Texas, be sure to catch out the audition at Pavilion Royale in Houston (5800 N. Airline Drive, Houston, TX 77076) also from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. It’s on Wednesday, July 1st. All you have to do is pass their test and wow the producers to get your shot at the hot seat and the $1,000,000 top prize.
Tapings for the show will be starting soon. Click here to visit the tickets page, or here to visit the casting page, for the most up to date info.
In addition, the syndicated edition of Deal or No Deal is almost set for the second season and will start taping at their new Connecticut home soon. Tapings start on Tuesday, July 28th. Click here to get tickets from TVTix. It should be a lot of fun. If you’re in that area, definitely stop by and take a look. Auditions are popping up all over the place on the east coast. Check local papers or news sources to find more specifics.
Of course you can still get tickets to see Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, Family Feud, and The Price is Right. We’re gearing up for the new game show season. Pretty exciting, isn’t it?

I just found out on the Wiki that NBC has officially announced DOND's fifth season in primetime in the fall. Is this true? Unfortunately, none of that information was on the official site. Maybe the person who edited that was probably confused about the synidcated version. This is just a theory.
It's the daytime version. No 5th season is planned. However, I wouldn't count it out. NBC is looking ugly and they'll need quick filler when one of their shows bomb.
I like how you used the word "when" instead of "if." Ben Silverman is an idiot.
That being said, I got myself tickets to two shows in late August. I'm soooooo excited! I hope that Millionaire puts their tape dates up soon so I can schedule that show instead of the second day of Deal.
I only live about an hour away from the studios, so I reserved me DoND tickets for July 29! I will gladly post my experience with pictures and any info on this season!!
I'm reallly excited that they have a WWTBAM site in Texas. I'm driving down from DFW for the Houston Audition. Yall think I could arrive at the audition at 5am and be assured a spot? I know they won't let anyone in line before 6am.
Anyone have an idea as to how many people to expect at it?
