TheFutonCritic.com reports that NBC will preview Merv Griffin’s Crosswords at 8:30 PM Eastern/7:30 PM Central on Saturday, September 8, following the network’s fall preview special. This makes the second primetime game show preview of that week, following Temptation’s back-to-back episode preview on MyNetworkTV on Wednesday, September 5.
I’ve heard at least one market has no affiliates showing either show. At least that market and possibly others have a chance to see the new offerings.

What a great idea !! The format sounds very intriguing, so it will be great to get an early look at it. Does anyone know whether any Louisville-area stations have picked up Crosswords or Temptation for the fall?

I’m looking forward to those. It kinda sucks that here in Baltimore, we don’t get Meredith Millionaire. But then, WMAR Channel 2 here sucks anyway.

You mention a market showing neither show - I hope that’s not Roanoke. PLEASE tell me it’s not Roanoke! I haven’t seen a listing of it anywhere in relation to Crosswords, so I am concerned. Well, at least as concerned as you can get about a TV show :)

The market that won’t air either show as of now is Des Moines, IA.

Des Moines, how did I know, I lived there most of the 1990s and yes, they totally blew on almost everything. Anyone know where to get a master list of clearances on both?
