Mark Walberg Hosts “Price is Right Live” Soon

It’s always nice to hear Mark Walberg hosting more shows, even if it’s a live Vegas show.  He deserves it for some of the stuff he does.  If you’re in the general area of Las Vegas, be sure to check out The Price is Right Live this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Looks like the shows will be at 2:30PM.  Definitely check him out and support basically the television’s only true game show host left on the air, not an out of work comic.

He hosted a bunch of TPiR Live shows in Atlantic City back in 06. I had the privilege of playing “Hole in One” with him hosting (on his first night, no less).

A true class act, and a hell of a nice guy.

  • Jason says:

Wow, I guess he’s not holding out hope for “Max Payne” on its opening weekend. It finished #1, Mark! You don’t have to do this!

  • Julia says:

Hey…any word on if TPiR Live will be making comeback in Atlantic City anytime soon? I am much closer to there than I am to Las Vegas, and would deffinately love to make a trip down there if I could to see it.

Can you explain the “Out of Work Comic” reference here? I want to be sure of this before I bloviate.

  • Todd says:

This is the game show host Mark Wahlberg, not the actor, correct?

  • KBGUY09 says:

I hope TPiR Live comes back to Atlantic City soon. There was another game show here this past summer where Bob Eubanks hosted some nights and Peter Marshall hosted others. Unfortunately, I only say Marshall host, but the game itself to me wasn’t as good as TPIR Live was. I need some game shows in AC!

I’m pretty sure he meant Mark L. Walberg.
As the host once said to a contestant who worked on actor Mark Walberg’s computer on Russian Roulette, “I know who you’re talking about. Famous actor, popular guy. As the faux Mark Walberg, it will give me great pleasure watching you fall on your ass.”

Forget Atlantic City- why not have more nationwide game show tours? I mean, Washington, DC did host Jeopardy! at DAR Constitution Hall in 2004. Why not have, say, Press Your Luck, Let’s Make A Deal or some other discontinued game show show up there? Get on it, Fremantle (and don’t screw it up)!

I think he’s talking about Drew Carey, the host of the real show.

  • Alex Davis says:

Not just Drew Carey. Plus I’m a huge fan of Drew Carey, have been for ages, and I love what he’s doing with Price is Right.

I should have said comic actor more than anything. Like your Howie Mandel, Bob Saget, Penn Gilette, Alfonoso Ribeiro, etc. The list goes on.

It’s nice to see MLW working again, especially after Fox prevented him from hosting TP:America Plays (which is a good show btw). Two things: Jason, wrong Mark. This is Mark Walberg the host of that awful (IMHO anyway) Moment of Truth, not Mark Wahlberg the actor. And, alex, Alphonso Ribeiro is not a comedian even though he was on 3 sitcoms (Silver Spoons, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and In The House). He’s more of an actor than a comic.
