Live Chat for GSN’s “Think Like a Cat”, AKA “Freaking Million Dollar Cat Game Show,” Tonight!
So tonight’s the night the obsessive cat people have waited for and basically everyone else has dreaded. It’s the debut of GSN’s Think Like a Cat, or what we at BuzzerBlog affectionately call Freaking Million Dollar Cat Game Show. I won’t say that a show is really bad unless it is. It’s a pretty bad show. I can even get over the whole cat aspect. It’s still pretty bad. But I want you all to be able to talk about how bad it is together! Our chat was popular last night for what little notification we had, so it’ll be opened again. Just come on in, change your nickname if you want to what we’d know you better as, and talk to fans about GSN’s new hopefully one time show starting at 9:30PM ET. And sorry for the lame swear filter. Just find creative ways to get around it like I do.
Chat will be back soon! As always, thanks to all who came.

You people may not like it but I do. I love cats and I lost 3 best kitties 2 years ago
To Alex: I have no opinion of it either way. If it succeeds, fine. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too.
As for the show itself, I wanted to watch it, but I fell asleep watching college football yesterday (no lie). However, I did see a preview of it during Card Sharks yesterday, it seems ok (doesn’t reflect my opinion above). I’ll watch it next week (assuming GSN won’t/didn’t cancel it).
DeVares…It’s a one time special. Watch a rerun of it somtime…GSN should probably rerun it.
My opinion can be summed up in one word…AWFUL!!! I hope GSN gets loads of money for this because Chuck looked bored, and so did the cats. You go from a county fair event to cat Jeopardy! to Wanna Bet! (Obscure refference)…to a really stupid bonus for $1 Mil…Wow…Just Wow…
If the only thing I liked about the show was the fact that Chuck said “2 and 2″, it’s not great.
I hope Chuck Woolery got a king’s ransom for doing this abomination.
Shoot the person who came up with this. REPEATEDLY. That’s it, and that’s all.
Alex; like you, I love cats, too (as well as dogs; hey, I grew up with both, so I have no preference. Call me an equal opportunity pet lover-LOL!). I also had to give away a beloved cat last summer, due to behavioral issues, and I still miss him very much.
Having said that, you should know that there was an unfavorable review of “Think Like a Cat” in this past Friday’s NY TIMES.
Granted, a review’s a review; no matter how good or bad it is, if the individual likes it, then that should be all that matters.
“Granted, a review’s a review; no matter how good or bad it is, if the individual likes it, then that should be all that matters.”
Is that so? Well, what if the individual (me, especially) didn’t like it? I could only watch about 5 seconds of it before going back to playing “Katamari Damacy”. I just hope GSN doesn’t pull anything that dumb ever again (no matter how lucrative it makes them- same thing applies to Chuck “out of luck” Woolery).
