“Lingo” Begins Taping Monday, April 4th; Be in the Audience
GSN’s revival of their revival Lingo is coming close to reality. The new Bill Engvall-hosted edition has been casting for some time and it’s taping time. The new series will begin taping this coming Monday, April 4th, in Los Angeles. The game play is essentially the same but a few twists and turns have apparently be added, so we’ll keep you updated as to what they are once we figure it all out. If you’re going to be in the Los Angeles area and you’re free for either taping, click here to get involved. Should be fun. Let us know how it goes.

Maybe they should train Watson and get him as a contestant. It’s certainly a game it could be trained to play without much heavy programming :)
I still wish David Goldhill could hire Shandi. GSN was much better when she was becoming a staple to the network. Just my opinion.

I don’t believe so. It sounded like it was a canned audience which they sometimes use for shows like this.
Maybe one of the “twist and turns” will be something like adding 6 or 7 letter words? Or doing a “steal” on the words from the competitor? One can only hope they do something to vamp up a “five letter word” game.
Why the hell does the G in that logo look like it’s melting?
Maybe the image just go a weird error while being uploaded? It doesn’t look intentional….
I wonder if they kept Shandi. I liked her.
