First we have Jerry Springer. Then we have his bodyguard Steve Wilkos. Now, Merv Griffin may be taping his new game show “Let’s Play Crosswords!” in the NBC Tower in Chicago. Larry Wert, president and general manager of Channel 5 in Chicago stated “We’re exploring the possibility and looking at all options. The three shows would make WMAQ a major syndication production hub.” Still no word on anything else involving “Crosswords!”

Who would be a good host for a crossword game show? I Would say Chuck Woolery but he’s doing LINGO. Hey, how about Ricki Lake? Heh heh

How about Pat Sajak? No, sorry, that’ll never happen… :D
Actually, I think Bob Goen could work for this. Plus, with That’s the Question ending its short run, one could say he, at least, has very recent GS hosting experience, and at that, hosting a mixture word/trivia game. It doesn’t hurt he also has Wheel behind his belt either (of course)…
