Just in time for the season premiere of Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, their website is finally up. It is just absolutely AMAZING. They have photos, videos, bios, a complete affiliate list, and more! Check it out!
Depends on what you define as complete. WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pa is airing Crosswords at 4 & 4:30pm and they are no wheres to be found on the list. Pretty bad that they don’t even know what stations will be airing their show. Have to wait for me to email and tell them.
At least they are 10 steps ahead of Temptation in that they actually have a website.
I just thought of something and I wonder if I was the only one. Is it just me or wouldn’t it have made more sense to launch these websites weeks ago so people would have had more time to locate the station it is airing on in their area (if they didn’t know).
I think it’s weird that out of all the possible affiliates here, it’s our GTN (a.k.a. PAX) station that picked up Crosswords, and at 7:00/7:30, the same time as Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune air on our CBS affiliate (and at 7:30, Millionaire airs on ABC). I hope the show gets better support from other parts of the country, because I think this show really shows promise.
Just a little shameless commercial plug here: I’m on the premiere episode tomorrow! Hope you guys enjoy it! :) More reason to watch - you can flood me with crazy questions afterward!
I just met Ty Treadway at a local expo today and this show would not be a rigged game and that it would be fair and reasonable but to my knowledge, this show would have some great prizes to give away. BTW, I’ll get crosswords at 3-4 PM on KTXL FOX 40, 4-5 PM on KNTV NBC 11 and at 6:30 PM and 2:07 AM on KGPE CBS 47.
Neville! You rock! Did you know that (at least when I was in the Green Room) “your” episode is the one they used to teach contestants the game? Now EVERYONE IN AMERICA knows how to play, thanks to your debut show!
Thanks, abric and R—-! One of the contestant people mentioned that my episode is now the demo episode to me when they told me the airdate, and I was floored! R—-, can I take it that you’re either a contestant on the show or someone on the staff? If it’s the former, I hope you did very well! Thanks again everyone, and here’s to hoping that Crosswords is a great success :)

Oh yeah, and Temptation airs at 7:00 on our local MyNetworkTV affiliate. You’d think someone would want to space these shows out a little bit…

I’ll also confirm their station list is bad. They don’t have Ft Wayne listed, but, we are getting the show at 3pm on the CBS affiliate here.

In other news: Tuscon, Arizona’s KTTU-TV has moved to Green Bay, WI. Maybe it’s because of the Packer’s great defense?
