Ken Jennings to Appear on PlayCafe

Here’s a nice little surprise for all you PlayCafe fans out there. Ken Jennings, the Jeopardy! champion who you’d have to be under a rock not to know about, will be making an appearance on the first internet TV network for game shows on Monday at 6PM PT. He will be playing the game along with everyone else at home to see if he’s still smarter than the players. Click here to play along and get involved.

PlayCafe.com streams live, online casual games that let anyone play as a contestant. Members can compete in a variety of games, chat live with hosts and other players, form teams, call the studio, contribute questions, and win a variety of prizes, including iTunes songs, Nintendo Wiis and up to $1,000 in cash. “Ken Jennings is a legend in game shows, and having him play against and chat with people everywhere is a hint of what PlayCafe.com can make possible” said Mark Goldenson, CEO of PlayCafe.com.

defintely be interesting since most of the questions are about pop culture, plus the emphasis is on speed. and they are giving away at least 1 copy of his new book which is supposed to be a very good read. I just hope the playcafe server can handle the TON of people who will be playing that night. the show runs a little late here on the east coast and I have to help a friend move in the morning but I’ve gotta play at least 1 game its Ken Jennings!

Mark, I don’t see why not, after all, the server was able to handle the traffic brought by IJustine, the net’s best known lifestreamer.

well no offence kaos but Ken Jennings is A LOT more well-known that IJustine (I’ve never even heard of her)

Well, for those of you who tried to play, thanks, but unfortunately, the servers did have trouble. Sorry folks. From what I could see, Ken was having a good time.

I did manage to play a while and they had some trouble all throughout the show, (they were jokingly saying ken’s big brain overloaded the server) after the 2nd round of the first show, they said to refresh if you were having trouble, i did and i couldn/t get back on anymore, I’m disapointed. anyone on here manage to play until the bonus game did Ken win anything?
