Kathy Kinney to Appear as Mimi Bobeck on “The Price is Right” April 1st

If you’re a Drew Carey Show fan like I am, you may be excited to hear one of the gags The Price is Right has in store for April Fool’s Day.  The character Drew Carey’s arch nemesis, Mimi Bobeck, will be appearing on the show as a guest model on Wednesday, April 1st.  Here are some pictures to show you what to expect.  I’m definitely checking out this episode; it looks extremely funny.  Also below are a few pictures from the country music special.

No joke. I remember not too long ago a contestant wearing a Mimi t-shirt won an IUFB and got up on stage. Drew quipped Mimi was “the original Carey’s cutie”.

  • DXSSI says:

Interesting. I guess I’ll have to tune in tomorrow and see if they can capture any magic. I tuned in today and was so put off by Carey’s endless non-joke about [brand name of chocolate milk ingredient redacted] that I couldn’t finish watching.

  • Thomas says:

I remember that too, Doug. Anyway, I’m looking forward to this. I hope there are plenty of Drew Carey Show-esque smart-alecky remarks thrown around between the two of them, but I also hope she doesn’t try to show Rich and the models the power of eyeliner in one of the showcases, but then again, it wouldn’t suprise me. ;)

  • Jim Williams says:

While I have a feeling some people at a certain “fanboi” website are probably having an aneurysm, I enjoyed the show. It was one big ode to April Fool’s Day and I enjoyed it.

  • Thomas says:

I was in the chat at that certain website today, and I didn’t hear a single complaint. We were actually thinking about how a certain member would have a seizure over it. We all thought the show was wonderful.

  • Rob says:

Loved it! The Groucho noses falling off everybody were a bit of a distraction but, in general, it was very enjoyable!

  • Brad D. says:

Thomas, does his name start with a “N” and ends with a “K”? lol.

But yeah, I also really really liked this. It would of been funny if instead of playing the match game theme at the end, they played Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”. That would of been great lol.

  • Alan Mitsugi says:

I saw the episode, things are looking up for Price. Nice to see Kathy, but man she lost a lot of weight.

  • Thomas says:

You’re right Brad! Anyway, I’ll probably watch it again later just in case I missed some things. I know I missed a WoF reference somewhere…

  • Charles Blaquičre says:

I don’t understand. During the show, I was sure I’d recognized Laurie Metcalfe and Eddie Murphy as “contestants”, figuring they were playing for charity as an Easter Egg of sorts. But the show ended, and nothing was announced. I now wonder if my eyes deceived me…

  • Chris Parsley says:

The WOF reference was in the flash ups at the top of the show… “Consonants and Vowels Galore!”
