Interview with “Family Feud” Champions the Grosso Family

Sorry for the delay on this.  I swear I had this scheduled to publish but apparently not.  A week or so back Family Feud finished up their final Big Money Tournament of the season.  In these tournaments, all money earned in Fast Money goes into a jackpot which the winners of the championship match receive.  In this tournament, $80,000 was up for grabs and the very entertaining Grosso family took it all.  The Grossos first appeared in the Halloween week and lost their match before being invited back for the Big Money Tournament.  They easily have one of the biggest wins in the ten season run of the show.  We were lucky to get the chance to talk to some members of the Grosso family.  It’s an entertaining interview; they are so funny and energetic.  If you listen, you can hear about their experience, what it feels like to lose a match, what they did to prepare, and how people reacted to their win.  Hopefully you enjoy it!

This is the final update of the day unless something giant happens, as I’m on my way to Los Angeles for the 2009 Game Show Awards, where special awards will be given to Mark Goodson (with pretaped tributes from Betty White, Richard Dawson, and Wolfgang Puck) and Monty Hall (Presented by the original Let’s Make A Deal spokesmodel Carol Merrill).  It looks to be like a lot of fun so be around with more information about it, possibly a live Twitter event from the red carpet.  We’ll be on the set of GSN’s new Big Saturday Night show 20Q on Sunday.  Lots of big events happening this weekend.  Don’t miss it.
