Imagination Releases “Press Your Luck” DVD Game

Imagination Games, who released the “Deal or No Deal” DVD game, is launching a new one for the show “Press Your Luck”.  Sadly, though, not a lot is known about it except that Todd Newton is hosting, which is rather interesting seeing that “Whammy!” was, well, special.  Check for this in your local Target stores or online.

Well I think its freakin sweet that they would come out with a DVD of Press. But what is wobbling my mind is how are you able to ‘Stop’? Most dvd players have to load it up and what not.

I’m guessing the enter or OK button. What I’m concerned about is the fact that the wait time there could be from hitting stop to it actually stopping.

Thats what I meant. I’ve also discovered an intersting thing on the DoND DVD game. My DVD player plays it but its the same money revealing pattern over and over. So maybe they’ve fixed things up with this. I want it but I’m worried that it will be like $100,000 pyramid DVD

I just got the Let’s Make a Deal and TPIR DVD games over XMAS, and, though I’m not really disappointed, I’m not 100% satisfied. It didn’t surprise me that they seemed to have high repetition rates, choppy sounds and vids, and that the product seems rather rushed, but the 2 games I have are the best home versions of those particular GS’s ever made, IMHO. That 1990 PC version of TPIR, especially, was absolutely horrid…

I think PYL could do alright as a DVD game. Just have an adequate number of questions, and a variety of Whammy animations, and it should be good to go. Todd did pretty good, I think, on the TPIR DVD, so if he acts similar on PYL, I’ll be happy with that aspect of it… ;)

I am going to buy this game. can’t wait because this is one of my many favorite game shows. now if they would get a Card Sharks, Lingo and Super Password I would be extremly happy.

I curious if they had even for a split second thought of bringing Peter Tomarken “back from the dead” for this like they were going to do with Jack barry for the Phillips Cd-i version of Joker.

I’ve been searching On-Line stores but haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Anybody know where I should go?

Target.com is a best bet, however there is 2 on ebay right now but it doesnt look like the one at the top of this page so if your going to decide to chase down the ones on ebay i recommend that you BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!

oh before i forget if you order from Target.com youll be waiting till the middle of May for the release, this has been bumped several times from its initial release from late Feb.
