Holy God; “1 VS 100″ Returns on May 25th!
Please enable Javascript and Flash to view this Flash video.It gives us terrific pleasure to announce that NBC’s game show 1 VS 100 is finally returning to the schedule on Friday, May 25th, at 8PM ET after being taken over by Identity, which gets nearly 1/2 the ratings of the hit Bob Saget game show. We’re not sure if these are reruns or new episodes, but I think it would be a safe bet to say that it’s reruns. Sorry for the logo to the site. We just got really excited. Hopefully we’ll get some sort of renewal soon. It’s one of the few new game shows to actually receive some critical praise currently, as long as we have this hard and quick gameplay. Even better for you all; now I get to shut up about it being gone! Thanks to reader John Moss for pointing this out to us.
Dude. I LOVE the confetti on the logo. When I noticed the headline just now, I nearly…. well nevermind that. Reruns or not, at least its a good sign that 1 vs 100 will stay and come abck for a second season this fall. If it’s reruns, eh I got all the episodes on tape.
if any fan can catch Italian tv, Italian 1vs100 begins next Monday and it will feature a model (it’s the host’s girlfriend btw)
If only YouTube can carry that over the net. Or at least do clips of the show.
I think a better sign that the show will return come fall is the recent release of the 1 vs. 100 board game. Pressman did an OK job of it, but completely forgot to add something to keep track of winnings during the game. I think if you have the Deal or No Deal game, you could just snag the play money from that set.
Heh, I don’t care. Reruns or not, it’s an indication this show’s staying. Identity’s a bore right now, and I barely saw the original run of 1 vs. 100. This is great new.
I’m 99% sure these will be re-runs….I know people. ;)
But hopefully the ratings will be great and NBC will decide to make more!
1 vs. 100 is too good of a game to ignore! This should be back for a bigger and better season in ’07-’08.
Didn’t they have a “season finale” of sorts back in March? Not that I mind, I was slow to pick up on the show when it premiered, so I wouldn’t mind seeing it from the beginning.
Then again, I hope it doesn’t confuse the viewers into thinking it’s a “new” payout structure…
I’ve just found out from NBC.com that May 25 will be the start of a set ALL NEW episodes of 1 Vs. 100! This presumes me to believe they will air these episodes over the summer! Seems like a good idea. While DOND is on hiatus, 1 Vs. 100 will definately garner some serious summer viewing!
For the record, yes, NBC has also given DOND an official “GO” for Season 3 in the fall, so good news all around!
