“Hollywood Squares” Gets Video Game in 2010
Apparently the recent game show video game releases have been successful. The classic game show Hollywood Squares is next on the list of video game editions. The game will play much like the show, where two contestants have to decide if celebrities are bluffing to trivia questions or not while capturing squares on a giant Tic Tac Toe board. Video bonuses of the show’s funniest moments will be included. Hollywood Squares will be released on PC/Mac, iPhone, and iPod Touch in 2010.

Wow! This'll be my next one to get. I hope they include the no win by default rule in there. I wish 2010 was here now so I wouldn'r have to worry about getting either WoF or DoND tabletop games(I've decided against getting PYL because of some serious shortcommings on there).
What about Wii?
No actual celebrities included, I assume?
By which I mean, Whoopi, etc. will not be in the game?
If by celebrities, you mean likely the same generic built-in miis or avatars PYL, TPIR, and FF had built into them this past year, than yeah, this would be Hollywood Squares.
Don't get me wrong, I love the show, I love the game, and this is definitely will have my eyes on it, but I'll wait to see if they use "fake celebs" or if they go with videos/pics of celebs from the show for the VG. This may be determined by whether or not Ludia is behind the game to some extent…
Then of course, we must wonder, if they have a bonus game, which one will it be? :o
I hope these games eventually get released for PS2 as well, that would be cool.
This will be my fourth game show video game when it comes out.
i want to get this game. Its going to be for the PC that's great. I hope it will be more like the 80's version. I'm cool whether they use real celebrities or avatars. Just having hollywood squares would be great. As far as the bonus game im for the car round or the trivia questions and then double or nothing. I would also love to see a Joker's Wild and BTW Lingo came out with a board game that you can buy at gsnshop.
I would want to see Hollywood Squares return to TV, particularly the Bergeron version with some new elements that would fit the 2010s. I would pick ABC or NBC primetime and if Bergeron is too busy with DWTS that much, how about Ryan Seacrest or something?
