“Hole in the Wall” Weaseled its Way Onto FOX Last Night. And Bombed Again.
FOX is really having major issues with that Sunday 7:00PM ET time slot it seems. First Hole in the Wall bombs there. They bring in Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? which proceeded to bomb there as well. And now they replace Hole the Wall in that same slot to even worse ratings. It was at a series low 1.7 last night. Daytime Deal or No Deal does better. Family Feud nearly does better with a lot of stations having far worse time slots for it. That’s just sad. Just to reiterate, my problem with Hole in the Wall isn’t the show itself. I like the YouTube clips, but that’s where it should stay. Or make it a part of a larger stunt type show, like Wipeout. They are stretching a show’s concept more than I’ve ever seen and taking it far too seriously. It looks like a huge joke. The sad thing is that it’s not supposed to be, though.

New quote from Hank Hill: “FOX cancelled our show and replaced us with this?”
Funny enough, last night was the first time I’ve seen part of this in a long while. Any show that needs to go to the judges so often has a problem with the game mechanism – either the rules or the danged foam wall.
I saw it on the guide on my satellite last night but didn’t get to watch cause I had to work. either I don’t think bell exoressVu even knows when its own, it’s popped up before and there’s been a completely different show on.
and in rep. to Michael: is King of the hill really canned? if so, part of me’s not surprised, part of me is.
Marc (#3), I think FOX did can it but it think Cartoon Network in the States may have picked it up. If anybody knows for sure, please feel free to chime in.
To Michael: Cartoon Network picked up the reruns from FX. It’s unknown whether they will air new episodes or not. I’m also hearing that ABC could pick the show up to pair it with the upcoming The Goode Family. As far as Fox putting a new show on at the 7/6 time slot, just air reruns of the animated lineup instead of new shows. Simple fact is that there hasn’t been a successful show at the 7/6 spot since Futurama (which was the victim of NFL runovers during the fall).
