I have to agree with Joseph on everything but the Scrabble and Sale. Are there any certain reasons that GSN doesn't air Joker's Wild, Tic-Tac-Dough, and other similar shows in the library anymore? I could see where the cost would outweigh the benefit if they had to acquire the show, but for ones they already have in the library, I could see ratings going way up. It seems that the viewers vote makes a strong indication of what they want to see on at least some of the lineup. I couldn't see making the whole lineup of all the old shows, but at least mixing some of them in at times like how they are doing now from 12a to 2a with Double Dare, Trivia Trap, Now You See it, and Beat the Clock. This would give viewers who want to see old shows again a time when they could while still keeping new and original shows on and coming in the future. I don't really get into the money side of what it takes to air the old shows they have and what it takes for the new ones, but I would be curious to know what GSN's reasoning is behind not bringing back any of the old shows at least some of the time.

Gentlemen, please realize that there are reasons that GSN does air what it does on its usual schedule. And Joseph, people have asked time and again about Scrabble and $ale. It's far too expensive to acquire from FremantleMedia on GSN's budget, and the return just doesn't figure to be worth it.

I remember this exactly. Every popular show that aired seemed to be on there. This viewer's marathon should hopefully help GSN see what viewers want. After all, it was the viewers who voted. I'd be willing to bet that if GSN would put some of these shows back on like Tic Tac Dough, Joker's Wild, Bullseye, Hot Potato, and maybe even Scrabble and Sale of the Century (good Chuck Woolery and Jim Perry shows), their ratings would skyrocket. I would challange GSN that if they would bring shows like these back as a test for just a couple of weeks, and be sure to advertise that they would be on, the ratings would at least double. People have been screaming and begging for several years now to bring these back instead of doing so many originals that just go into reruns after only a short time. That gets old. If I had show like the ones on the marathon, I think I could watch 24/7 and never be tired of it. I just hope this gets through to them.

It should be fine. They accidentally put the schedule up, I believe, and realized it just recently. I would have heard back if we were wrong.

On GSN's website, they now list "Viewer's Choice marathon" instead of the show that was supposed to air, like they originally had there. I don't know if Alex could check this out to see if the listing is the same or not.

GSN finally is getting a clue of what most of us all want to see. I never understood why they stopped airing many of these when people want to see them. This schedule is where all those lost ratings are. The Barry and Eright shows (Tic Tac Dough, The Joker's Wild, and Bullseye) are legends and I, for one, could sit and watch them all day long. To me, there is nothing like how they used to really showcase the art of friendly competition on these and other shows in the voter's lineup. They also had catchy music and prize cues which is another integral part of what makes a show. Those were the kind that made me sit on the edge of my seat to see if the devil would come up, or maybe the dragon. In the case of Card Sharks and Pyramid, the suspense of doubling on the big money cards and the buzzer beaters in the Pyramid bonus. New shows of today will never be able to match how excellent these older shows were. I just wish GSN wouls start airing these again. Even if they were just to do special blocks a couple of times a week, like a Barry and Enright block (a.k.a, the famous Tic Tac Dough/Joker's Wild hour from the 80's when they came on back to back every night). Maybe this voter's choice will get them to listen.

Why would Password go into Hibernation while "Million Dollar Password" was on the air?

It wouldn't surprise me if the Password shows on GSN go into a brief hibernation when "Million Dollar Password" hits the air. LOVE that Pyramid is at the top of the list...always been my favorite.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw! They finally have TTD and TJW! Hopefully they'll keep them on the lineup! No GSN originals either! This is excellent! Do you want to know what would really make me happy? Not crunching credits!

Super Password, twice-daily, is indeed a stretch. Hopefully, when they get to the final March 1989 episode (with Betty White destroying the 'Magic Toaster'), they can slow down its viewings. Come to think of it, GSN might be trying to burn-off those shows.

While I wish one of the MG's was from the Ross Shaffer '90 run (for variety's sake) and there were more shows not currently on the schedule mixed in, I'm so glad to see the B&E shows and Pyramid that I'll let those slide.

Just to echo what some have already said, let's hope that GSN learns that it pays to take some of these rare shows out of the vault. They seem to have listened to the response to those Saturday marathons of Trebek DD and Narz NYSI when trying to find replacements for Playmania in late night. But, the only way we can PROVE to them that it's worthwhile to air them is to WATCH them now that we've VOTED them in.

Also, I know $10K Pyramid was being rerun-abused in its most recent slot, but why not have it replace SP (a show that gets back-to-back airings Mon-Fri in daytime already) in the late night Sunday/ early Monday slot? It's had a little time to breathe now, and running it once a week would stretch out its run vs. a daily dose.
