I got called back to play a game today called “Battle of the Sexes”.

Good news is: I won $100 on a tie-breaker question about John Gray.

I am so impressed with what has happened today.

I was really wanting that GSN Radio would offer an audio simulcast of the on-air GSN schedule. If GSN is looking for a way to fill more hours than just 1pm to 5pm, why not do simulcasting? Some shows have play-along appeal with just the sound like “Jeopardy!” and “Super Password”. You don’t have to see everything that’s going on and if you have a vivid imagination like I do, you won’t necessarily miss not having the video.

Now that I’m listening to this a litle more, I am starting to like it. I hope this catches on, but I don’t know if enough people will. However, if it does, I hope that they either get a video feed (I think someone mentioned that somewhere else) and increase the time slots. Maybe even do a PlayMania show at night. The only thing with that would be that I don’t think people would listen to the radio at midnight, so that would probably need to be video feed. (Plus I think we’d all like a video feed of Shandi and Mel and Jessica :))

I’ll agree with many of the above comments: Bob and Marianne have great banter (obviously a harmonious marriage in place too) and make the proceedings fun. I also think the idea of having something so well done in direct competition with GSN Live on television isn’t the greatest of ideas, but that’s somewhat remedied by the recent additional promotion on TV and on their website in the last day or two. When I’m not at work, I’ll be looking to listen, play, and win!

I am very impressed with GSN Radio so far. Bob and Marianne make it very entertaining to listen to, and the games are fun to try and play along with. I was lucky enough to win $100 today by correctly identifying a movie quote at the end of the second hour on today’s show. Rest assured I’ll be back to try for more!

Hello everyone! I didn’t win the cash on GSN Radio today but I will indeed try again.

Bob Goen and Marianne Curan did a great job. I thought that the first three groups had to do with figure skating but I realized it had to do with blades so all in all, I had a great time being on the radio.

I listened to a little bit of GSN Radio on Monday and I am so impressed about it. I love the hosts and their interaction. I love the imaging and liners heard on GSN Radio.

Oh and I got called back to play a game called “Tribond” on today’s show. I am so excited about being on there.

Agree with all the love for Bob and Marianne. Marianne, especially, surprised me with how good she was. Unfortunately, I listened at work and did more listening than working.

The GSN Radio/GSN Live conflict can be troubling but, since I’m not a Match Game or Family Feud devotee and Password + with Tom isn’t a favorite either, I’ll probably listen to the stream during those shows on my days off.

GSN Radio made me think of Playmania too (with its faster pace of games and the interaction with Brucer the Producer giving it PM’s looser feel) and I don’t see why they couldn’t set up a companion webcam to show us Bob and Marianne having all this fun. Mike and Mike in the Morning (featuring Duel host Mike Greenberg) offers a webcam in addition to being telecast and heard on ESPN Radio.

If you’re like me (and most of you aren’t) you don’t get GSN for most of the year because you only get basic cable off at university. This will be a nice touch in between classes this year. I hope it lasts so that I can be on once I turn 21! It was actually a lot of fun for me to listen too, and it feels much more fastpaced than Playmania ever did, even if it really isn’t. I like talking to the contestants and I really lik having two hosts on. Not only are Bob & Marianne fun to listen to, their banter doesn’t sound megascripted or phony. They’re good. I also enjoyed occasionally hearing from Brucer the Producer. I think it goes to show that formats like this can do well from having more than one person at the helm. I don’t think this would work with just one host.

I was on the first day, and I had a good time. Bob and Marianne are really nice. Bob was really nice to talk to. We reminisced about his being on Wheel of Fortune. he mentioned his mustache, and I mentioned remembering it from Perfect Strangers. The were impressed by my game show geekdom.

I played Battle of the Sexes for $100 against someone Flint, Michigan. I lost, but I won the home game as a consolation prize.

I was never asked my address on the day of the show, nor did I enter anything in online. But, I did get a message on my voice mail when I came home today asking me for my info so they could send it out to me. Very nice. I half expected to not get it at all, and since it is still a beta and it was their first day and all, I expected a few things to slip through the cracks. very nice to get the call and follow up.

All in all, very enjoyable. Even got to kinda plug a certain group of game show enthusiasts. It seems like Bob is as nice as he seems on TV, and his wife is just as nice. I hope this succeeds, because they have a nice package already. I do, however, agree with everyone about the time slot. I can tell that they’re going for a different demographic than GSN Live, but still, at 1:00, most people will be watching GSN LIve, and not going over to their computer to listed to internet radio.

I just started listening. Yeah, its kind of like PlayMania but unless Shandi, Mel, and Jessica are there on actual TV at midnight, it really isn’t the same. I’m not paying too much attention but from the little bit I have heard so far, its pretty good. However I don’t think enough people this will catch on to.
