GSN Plans Paul Newman Tribute

I’m sure you’ve probably heard, but if you haven’t, the great actor Paul Newman passed away this weekend.  In respect, GSN is planning a special tribute which will make fans of Mr. Newman and classic game show fans equally happy.  On Saturday, October 4th, GSN will be bringing black and white classics to the daytime with an hour of What’s My Line? at 4PM ET.  Both episodes come from 1959.  This will be rebroadcasted at 3AM ET the same day as well.

Not only that, today (September 30th) on GSN’s daily game/talk show GSN Live, clips of Mr. Newman on various game shows will be shown.  And sorry to hijack the thread, but one more minor GSN Live note.  Comedy writer and frequent Hollywood Squares guest Bruce Vilanch will be visiting Fred Roggin and Kelly Packard at 3PM ET today.  The PDF for the 29th is updated very shortly.
