I played twice and on both I scored a little over 10K! I was hoping to show up in my match against Ken on that list next to Amanda's head but was told that's for the people who are playing while the show is airing or something like that. Unfair!!!!

I played it for a bit last night and, although the game play is pretty professionally programmed, some of the questions were RIDICULOUS and not very indicative of what we see on GS.

Example: In the MATH round, one of the questions actually asked “How many points in Frogger must yo achieve to win an extra life?” .. That’s not only NOT a math question, but it’s way beyond obscure trivia that is very very specific to a select group of Frogger nerds.

While I can certainly appreciate 1980s arcade trivia (Whoever wrote the questions is an obvious coin-op game fan, as I saw four other direct trivia references to Pac Man, Ms Pac Man, and Donkey Kong), after playing only about four times, there is an obvious bias towards that genre, whereas I’d say one in every ten thousand questions you see on television game shows would be about arcade games… :p Weird. :D

Now, if GS realllly wants to get their game on, they can always consult our little online game show programming group and get that puppy two-player-ified. :D

Nemmind. I've been surfing around here, and someone in the other thread said the eps were on YouTube, and I've been OD'ing on them. GSN always gets veeeeery different writers for their online games. It makes me wonder if the online writers get to see the shows to be able to capture the feel, or if they have to make it all up. Probably the former.

The math on the show is much more balanced, and rarely strays into the extremely easy or the extremely hard, which is good. Sigh. Another game show I'll never get on. :)

i too got about 10k, but that was after failing the GK round about four times. nobody said anything about a time deduction for wrong answers! whoops!

did anyone else's final round consist solely of the word round questions? almost every question i got was a complete-the-chain puzzle or an unscramble-this puzzle, with the exception of two math problems. i didn't see a trace of the GK in the final round. (good thing, given my track record.) i'm sure that the questions were all randomly selected, but that just seemed like an awkward slant. on the whole though, this isn't a shabby game so far... i just hope there's a large enough database of questions to make it worth playing for more than one sitting.

Most are scratch paper...I scored almost 10,000 on my game. Alex, to land on the leader board, how much did you score? Never saw a leader board...

Funny. Exactly the same thing happened to me: first game was five questions I just didn't know, then the next game I breezed through without a mistake or a pass.

The math questions seem really uneven, like the writers for the online game don't really know enough math to gauge the difficulty of a question. The difference between "What number does a tricycle suggest to you" and "What is 1.851 - 0.976; type your answer" is quite a broad one. I don't get GSN anymore (being Canadian, I'd need satellite or the really big cable package), so could someone tell me if the math/number questions on the show have the same kind of swing? Or are they all tricycles, or all wait-let-me-get-the-scratch-paper?
