Just got 12th place with something like 565,000 points.

How to get such a high score: In the final round, whack the stop button as fast as you can, don't pay any attention to the Question, and just plow through as many anagrams as you can. If you fill in the whole Question before your accumulated time runs out (i.e., you don't need the extra 30 seconds to answer), you score as though you guessed the Question without filling any letters in.

I don't know how that's possible but I believe you.

the point structure is more like the french version where you score based on how many letters are left and i think its double for filling in the question (i.e. finishing with 12 letters left would be 24 points) and on that version the host wil actually ask contestants in the latter parts of the round if they have a guess which is better than you have to interrupt Bob before the randomizer starts.

I also played TTQ for the first time a few days ago, and agree it is a fantastic online game. The show, of course, is also great, and I've already wasted more time then I've should've on GSN.com because of it... ;)

Oh, and btw, my high score was approximately 498k points, under the initials MWD, in case ya wanted proof. :D

Hm... Worked on IE, not Firefox... That's unusual...
Anyway, this was a really nice game. I've never been a fan of GSN's trend of three-strikes-and-game-over games though. I'd rather maybe have a five-point deduction for a missed question instead of a strike. Also, the difficulty didn't seem consistent at all. In one game, I had "What is something you wear on your head? (ATQH)" and "What is the longest English word that has no repeating letters?" I can't remember the letters used for that one, but it was something like a sixteen-letter anagram, which OBVIOUSLY I can solve off the top of my head. Otherwise, it was a fun game to play a few times over.
