Good thing I didn't get my hopes up. GSN primetime is so unappealing and it doesn't look to change any time soon.

  • Craig says:

Aw, crap! I was hoping they keep NG/Catch-21 at the 10 PM hour. Well, I guess I'll HAVE to watch 5th Grader every night on my local MyNet affiliate at 10 :30 PM starting this Monday.

  • Casey Abell says:

Carnie and Alfonso have stunk up the prime time numbers since day one, as confirmed by the ratings at Mediaweek and TV by the Numbers. The network tried switching the order of the shows and now they're trying a whole new timeslot. Good luck with that strategy.

GSN should just drop Carnie and Alfonso from prime time completely and put Howie at 10:00 PM, followed by Regis at 11:00 PM. Judging from the published numbers on Mediaweek, that strategy might get the network its highest prime time average viewership ever, easily over 400K.

  • Devon says:

Meh. I'd be more pleased with changes to the GSN Live block. On the bright side, at least GSN didn't put the Newlywed Game and Catch 21 against The Jay Leno Show.
