GSN Live is ok but it’s just too short…

GSN Live a nice way to kill a few commercials finally, but maybe pair it with stuff that doesn’t normally air on GSN, and we’d be peachy, like TJW etc.

Something I caught yesterday that made me scratch my head, when the show ended it says more Password Plus was next, but the next show was a GSN original. Makes me wonder if they taped these in advance instead of GSN “live”, and another scandal in the making?

I think for it to be a real show, it should be 3 hrs long with 5 shows, instead of 6. That way, there’s more time for the hosts to talk and play games with the viewers. It’s interresting, and a nice way to replace commercials with product placement ads. But, it is deffinately not aimes at young people. Can it be that the higher-ups at GSN realize that young people do not watch in big numbers and that older people, 50+ and female are the real demo to go after? This is amazing. After Bob Boden tried to ruin the network by aiming it at younger demos, this is a nice change, and a good turn in the right direction.

I like to see video clips of these game show legends. Not just for me, but for those who either missed it, or don’t have GSN. I fit the latter.

I put on GSN once at the time it was on just to see what the show was like. Twenty minutes later I turned the channel thinking, “Why am I watching Card Sharks?” (I dont like the Perry version.) It wasnt until a couple hours later that I realized I was planning to watch GSN Live…I think it came on once within the 20 minutes. From the short minute I saw and from what I hear its about, I dont think its a bad idea, but i dont think it’ll make them more than they are spending and I definitely dont think this is any kind of replacement for PlayMania.
