Fred Roggin Talks About “The Money List”

I’m a big fan of the new game show The Money List debuting June 13th, Saturday, at 9:30PM ET on GSN.  I hope I can make you a little more excited for the show by giving you some video footage.  Tomorrow we’ll have clips of the show as well as an interview with host Fred Roggin.  For now, here’s a brief video interview with him discussing what he loves about the show so much.

Well, I have to say that i would like to see "The Money List", but I am not a real fan of Fred Roggin (since I'm not a fan of GSN Live) but $50,000 isn't so bad.

I have to say that there should be a big-budget version of "The Rich List" (not with the same title though) for ABC or something. I don't know why; it really should happen. Have there be a better host, better set, no-fake contestants & have it be a sweeps event (something that "Millionaire" may be.) It could show what would happen if "Deal or No Deal" was on ABC.

  • Alan Mitsugi says:

Well the reason why Millionaire went off primetime, is the same reason Deal is going off primetime…..one simple word…OVERKILL…..if they kept it to one maybe at most 2 shows a week, it would have been compelling enough for viewers to stay glued….but both ABC and NBC decided to have TOO MANY SHOWS each week, they got cash cow for the excitement, but as we saw, the fans got tired of it………

Now you know… Fred Roggan is local TV's most talented sportscasters, as much as Jimmy Cefalo unwound his career as a game show host (Sports Snapshot, Trump Card – and, prior to his current form as a local television evening news sportcaster – the pro football team the Miami Dolphins) following a successful career as an NFL quarterback. His first game show as host, GSN's The Money List, is a success and continues to be a top-rated quiz show format for decades to come… well, almost!

Wanat to be one of Roggan's Heroes? If so, go to http://www.nbc4.com and check out Fred Roggan 's streaming video sports reports.

Wanted to comment on the The Filter, with Fred Roggin (don’t konw his email address). Was disappointed in the story 6/12/2011. How could Fred be promoting the building of more prisons and jails, instead of alternatives to incarceration.

If prison worked, we would not have such never ending return to the College of Crime. Shame on ya Fred. Shame … on … you.
