Followup on Rumor Control Post

OK, I’ve gotten enough emails.  I was not aware of the FCC restriction on the 7PM time slot, so I retract that and appologize.  I did not know what time zone he meant, since many publications from pacific time zone areas post times in ET as well, which is why I posted many different scenarios.  However, I would like to explain the defininition of a rumor: something that may or may not be true.  Had I not posted it being a rumor, I would have retracted it from the start and wrote a giant letter.  I posted it as a rumor because, like everything else I post under Rumor Control, I did not know.  I understand your comments and again, had it been a regular post, I would have done something right then.  But with a rumor, nothing is confirmed, and people need to treat it as such.  We constantly update or negate rumors, so, for the record, I will negate this one officially.
