WELL IT’S ABOUT TIME!
As one of the original ones who contributed puzzles every now and then (and visited QP every day for that matter), this is llllllllllloooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggggg overdue. 1 month turned into almost 4.
The other thing that irked me was that it wasn’t actually released WHY QP went on hiatus. My guesstimate was a lack of regular flow of puzzles coming in, but I could be wrong.
In order to get a regular flow of puzzles coming in, one thing that would probably need to be done is expand the list of games which are featured. YES, I know that’s hard (who you tellin’!), but only about 5 or 6 were there before, and not all potential puzzle submitters can write a good Wipeout or other trivia based game, while not all can write a good Bumper Stumpers set or other word based game. People gotta do what they’re good at.
The e-mail, again, is puzzles@quickplay.com just for emphasis. Glad to see it coming back, and here’s to hoping QP will stick around this time.

Don’t worry. We’ll be working hard to keep it going better than ever.

How much money would the writers earn for their efforts? Also, would the writer for that day’s puzzle get “on-air” credit?

No pay, but you will be recognized for your work.

Last time around, even though I wanted to contribute, I never did because I was busy with too many other things in my life that I couldn’t take time away from. I’m thinking I may actually have a chance at that now, but for the life of me can’t remember what games are/were featured in QuickPlay. Anyone have a list?

I would love to write a few puzzles maybe for something like Wipeout. I also think that maybe they should add chain reaction with the bonus round from the late 80’s version where you have a chain with the top word and the first letter of the next 6 words and you have only so many letters that can be used up before you lose.
