Just watched the promo..NOOOOOOOO THANK YOU! I think I’m going to stay as far away from this as possible. Will those f’ng writers settle their dispute and come back to work so shows like these don’t see the light of day, please.

When I was watching this promo, it made me think of Wihtout Prejudice? I dont think this show is going to make it, unfortunately. But I will watch it just in case it is good, and I’m glad Mark L. Walburg got another game show again. But I doubt this will last more than a season.

Well, I can’t say we didn’t warn Mark L. Walberg about this being a potential career killer. Better luck next show (I hope).

And Julia, don’t blame the writers for the strike- blame the network executives who’d rather toss in schedule filler than give the writers a fair deal.

Love Mark L.; he rules!! But the show? After seeing that wack-ass promo, all I’ll say is this — survey says… BLECCH!! YUCK!! >:P

That (”Moment of Truth”) is way too TMI (or TMZ; take your pick), IMHO… no freekin’ way! Scrap that POS (piece of sh**) right away!

If Walberg is gonna come back, I’d rather have him bring back “On the Cover” or maybe “Russian Roulette” (my fave), or do a cool new version of “Joker’s Wild” “Wheel of Fortune” or “Tic Tac Dough” (read: keep it classic; make it your own, just like Drew did “PiR”). Besides we need more cool guys like him, and what’s not to like, right?

    Peace!

Without Prejudice better get ready to vacate the “Worst game show ever” spot on my list.

“Controversy comes to Fox”? It’s been there since the network’s conception. Anybody remember “Married with Children”, “COPS”, or “The Simpsons”?

This is one of the easiest game shows in history. All you have to do is be completely honest. I’m surprised they’re not giving away $2 million.

If I could just guess how the game works (I have been right 95% of the time)

21 questions will be asked all yes or no questions.

    Round 1: 6 Questions- $10,000
    Round 2: 5 Questions- $25,000
    Round 3: 4 Questions- $50,000
    Round 4: 3 Questions-$100,000
    Round 5: 2 Questions-$250,000

And if they want, ONE FINAL QUESTION worth $500,000.

Round 1 will be easy (Are you Married? Did you graduate from High School?
Round 2 will be about “Key Moments” in the persons life, (Have you ever had a divorce?)
Round 3 will be about “Pressing Issues” (Gun Control, Power of 10 stuff)
Round 4 will be about “Friends and Family” (Have you ever cheated with your spouse?)
Round 5 will be hard questions about anything (Ever had a gay dream? Would you rather spend a night in jail, than see your mother-in-law?)
Then that final question, is a dangerous question, that could mean a huge confession, or possibly something that could destroy entire families.

I could be wrong here, with the Prize Tree, the categories, and everything, but thats what I feel the game will be like.

It sounds really stupid, I much prefer “How Much is Enough” on GSN.

yeah this is defintely gonna bomb! I’m actually gonna place a small bet that this joins The Rich list and you’re in the picture in the 1 episode club. once agin Fox is stealing things from other formats from what I saw from deal or no deal:
friends and family support group & surprise guests and they near copied the without prejudice set.

also huge potential for legal issues: let’s say the show asked something like “have you ever made a death threat to someone?” the contestant could jsut say “I refuse to answer on the grounds it may incriminate me.” and that would hold up in court according to my sources becuase a question like that could ruin lives, we’re taking wrecked marriages, losing your job, losing your friends etc.

Also if the lie detector said you lied when in fact you didn’t on that same question there’s a potential for a lawsuit. lie detectors work based on your heartrate and nervous mannerisms and people would get nervous under the lights and staring into the camera.

lastly a lie detector can be beaten easily just lookup “beating a lie detector” on youtube and you’ll see what I mean.

Who knows maybe that is what this game is trying to see if you can beat a lie detector. I will check this out to see if i like this because it’s Mark L. Walberg hosting this one of the best game show hosts but from the sounds of this if this last longer than 3 episodes I will be shocked. The thoughts of admitting some very extreme embarrassing stuffespecially on National TV would make me cringe. It’s one thing to admit I’m not smarter than a 5th grader but to actually have to beat a lie detector. I’m not saying all the gameshows on ABC,NBC, CBS or FOX are bad but I feel this one has natural disaster written all over it. I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I am confident and am begging that FOX, ABC, NBC or CBS looks at some of my gameshows that I have came up with. I also heard that NBC is going to have a game show called Amensia hoping it’s not like this. Mark L. Walberg deserves to host one of my games especially my quiz shows. Why not just name this show CAN YOU BEAT A LIE DETECTOR? i could see this as the opening Tonight these contestants will be asked up to 21 questions about there life can they stay calm and not be nervous we will find out CAN YOU BEAT A LIE DETECTOR?
