Posted by Alex Davis as FOX, Fifth Grader?, Returning Show
Like it or hate it, it’s coming back. FOX’s Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? has officially been renewed for a second season of contestants figuring out which hand is right and which is left. The show will air in the Fall and tentatively in the Spring on Fridays at 8PM ET.
And other good news that I enjoy, Family Guy stays at 9PM on Friday. Hooray.

I’m not a fan of the show, but I’m not surprised. It’s pulling good numbers for FOX, and as much as I hate to admit it, it outdoes “My Name is Earl” and “The Office”. From a business standpoint, it would be dumb for FOX not to renew a Top 40 show.

I will say I do enjoy watching stupid people. But I hate seeing them win armloads of money.
Speaking of family guy any word on “The War At Home”

Well, it looks like we get exposed to another season of “It Pays to Have a 5th Grade Education”. It’s a cheesy show but a pretty easy way to win $1M. Jeff Foxworthy looks a lot more intelligent wearing glasses.

War at Home is gone, as is The Winner which was at least passable. I love reading some of the TV sites and seeing under the heading NOT RETURNING FOR NEXT SEASON the show “The Rich List”. It amuses me.
