“Family Feud” Auditions in Orlando and Cabazon; New Facebook Game
UPDATED: Family Feud has added some more audition dates. They will be in Boston on April 17th and 18th as well as Miami, Florida, on April 24th and 25th. The contestant hot line as always is 323-762-8467 so keep checking for constant updates on those. Check with your local events calendar also.
We’re getting all set up for an amazing twelfth season of the syndicated game show Family Feud. The biggest change, of course, is that host John O’Hurley is leaving and being replaced by comedian and actor Steve Harvey, who looks like he’ll be doing great. And since we’re so close to show time the show needs contestants. Two auditions on both sides of the country are being held. We went to one of these auditions last season to show you what really goes on in them, and you can read about it here.
The first audition is this week. Feud will be traveling to the Morongo Resort Casino and Spa in Cabazon, California, to find families who want to win up to $150,000 and a new car. Casting directors will be there for two days: Wednesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 25th. Both days will be from 11:00AM ET to 7:00PM ET. The Resort is at 49500 Seminole Dr. Cabazon, CA 92230. If you want to audition be sure to call 323-762-8467 or email morongo@familytryouts.com and of course have five people ready to go. Having a backup isn’t a bad plan either, just in case.
The show will also be traveling to the east coast in April. Feud will visit Orlando, Florida, from April 7th through the 11th for a full week of auditions. Be sure to call 323-762-8467 or email: orlando@familytryouts.com, as always. More will pop up along the way most likely so watch out.
Family Feud also recently launched an all-new Facebook game based on the bonus round Fast Money. You can play the game and wrack up some big points. Share the game with your friends, who can play the second half, and score even more. It’s a great idea and it’s an incredibly good game. Click here to play.

Candice, was your family, really crazy acting.. I mean, my family was the first audtion on saturday morning.. We were actually the second act.. But we were the only family in our audition that had poster boards and signs and we even had a family chant.. we won our mock round and really were vibrant.. I hope we made it, but I hope we didn't go overboard.. We also wore all solid color tops of diffrent colors and black pants.. we tried to play like we were really on the show once we got up there.. Well if we don't make it, there is always next year and it was great memories anyways!!! Thanks for any advice..
We were not over the top like some families…some went so overboard with the excitement that it was almost obnoxious. We just smiled and laughed a lot, came up with creative answers, and were upbeat and enthusiastic. We also had a posterboard…one of the only ones I saw that day. All of us had on the same color tops as well. Good luck!! I hope you guys make it!!! We are still waiting on a call to confirm taping…I think it will all sink in when we get that call!
