Exclusive: GSN’s New Logo

Let’s take wagers on how long before we’re asked to take this down.  Until then, enjoy it while you can.  Attached to a screener copy I was sent was GSN’s new logo with the new slogan.  You can see it below.  Enjoy.  It was taken from my cell phone.  Sorry, my scanner isn’t working.

I like it. It’s retro yet still modern.

  • LostCluster says:

Nine squares… Tic Tac Dough and Hollywood Squares to rule the lineup?

  • KBGUY09 says:

Eh…It’s ok. I like what we have now when it’s just black. But it does remind me of GSN’s earlier days.

  • Marc Power says:

clearly, GSN now realizes the “network for games” idea didn’t work, so they’re going back (or trying to) to what they had before.

  • Scooter says:

Then why not bring back Game Show Network instead of just GSN?

  • Ken C. says:

    neo retro look…..I like it!

    it simple and effective.

I say keep it up for the weekend and then shunt it on Monday before GSN gets wise.

I like it. Very retro, it actually reminds me of RTN’s (the Retro Television Network for those who don’t know what that is) logo. Now here are some ideas for GSN. Bring back the game shows we all like, e.g H2 (all 3 versions), Blockbusters ’87, and Tattletales just to name a few. BTW, when are we going to see the logo on GSN?

  • Chris says:

It’s a good logo, very bright and retro.

  • Xavier says:

Any idea when this logo will debut on the network?

  • lobster says:

dunno why but the font and color scheme very much remind me of Dunkin Donuts…

when oh when will GSN finally cave and hire the guys who market TVLand as consultants and have better clever campaigns instead of this lame uninspiring crap they keep throwing at us for upwards of a decade?

    just sayin’…

  • John says:

I agree. I first thought Dunkin’ when I saw this.

And what screener are we talking of this was attached to..?

  • captparis1 says:

I agree with the Dunkin Dounts line. Plus, the logo has too much pink, in it, which makes it seem too girl centric. They need more basic, but splashy Vegas colors which appeal to young and old… men and women.

I’m hungry for sherbet all of a sudden. :p

Neat update to the logo, and the new slogan now fits the network perfectly.

  • Joe says:

I’ll take the “G” to block. A digital version of the logo probably looks better than what has been provided. Correct me if I’m wrong, but there appears to be a hint of either dark red or brown in the lower left and upper right corners.

I’m looking forward to the new site. I think the current one is very bland in design and way too cluttered.

  • Devon says:

When I see this I guess something was going down because GSN had a promo where Pat Sajak, Alex Trebek, Regis Philbin and Meredith Vierra were saying “You’re watching G…S…N. Play every day. Seeing that promo and now this, I guess it adds up.
