ET and The Insider Take a Look at The Price is Right

Entertainment Tonight and The Insider both got an inside look at Drew Carey on the new set of The Price is Right. Both shows are syndicated by CBS so it’s the same interviewer, but still two totally different interviews. The set looks so awesome and Drew looks like he’ll fit in just fine. There’s are minor spoilers of gameplay, but nothing too dramatic. If you do not want to get spoiled by the set either, then don’t click the links below.

The new set looks far better than anything the show has had since 2002 (?) when the Hollywood Mural was introduced and the set began changing into the “modern” version.

I am also 110% comfortable with Drew as host after seeing this. He’s gonna do a good job, I can tell. Hopefully people will warm up to him and the ratings won’t suffer.

I for one love the G-T asterisks on the doorframes. Can’t really tell what’s on the Showcase podiums where the different (read:funny) asterisk used to be.

To answer your question Whammy, the showcase podiums now have three diamonds on the front.
