The executive producer of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, Michael Davies, and his company Embassy Row (”Chain Reaction”) are developing a new game show CBS entitled “The Power of 10″. Not much is known about the show, but this is taken directly from the contestant application form:
“The Power of 10 is a unique new game show challenging contestants to see how well they know what Americans think. We’ll poll an enormous cross-section of the American population on the nation’s hottest topics, and the contestant most in synch with America can win unprecedented sums of money.”
I love Embassy Row, but isn’t this a bit like “Family Feud”, or how it’s turning out I should say “Super Family Feud”. However, at least it’s not going to be a “Deal or No Deal” clone or a show capitalizing on the stupidity of contestants, so this one could and probably will turn out very nice. Seems more like Play the Percentages to me, since the “Power of 10″ part is probably alluding to that the answers will all be either multiples of 10% or X out of 10.

My first thought was TPiR’s Grand Game. Get a question right, add a zero.
