Inc. Sterling Publishing Company will be releasing the Deal or No Deal Scratch & Play book just in time for the third season. Personally, I don’t see the point in getting a book that will only give you a limited amount of games, especially they’re the same in every copy.
If for some reason you want to pre-order it, it only costs $7.95. A cheap price for a cheap book, in my opinion.

Your comment makes no sense…so people shouldn’t buy Sudoku books either because there’s a limited amount of game and they’re the same in every copy? This is the case for *any* puzzle book.

Deal or No Deal merchandise is getting out of hand. This is a stupid idea.

As much as I love collecting Deal stuff, the book does sound very stupid. Let’s just leave the home games as it is and game systems too. Which I cannot wait to get my hands on the Wii and DS versions.
Now if only 1 vs 100 can come out soon.

It seems like every DOND item is just a “FAN TRAP” I think are trying to sell halfway decent products with the DOND name on it way too much. Sure the electronic home games were ok, but thats really all we needed.

Does anyone remember those puzzle books with the marker that made the answers or other parts of the game “visibile”? I can’t remember what the name of those were, but, those seem like something that would be able to do this, instead of scratch off.
The thing I don’t understand with the scratch-off is how do they do the “offers”? Assuming that the “puzzles” are 26 scratch off “cases”, after each ’round’, you’d need to figure out what the offer is. Is their some page that says “given these cases are left after round 3, this is your offer”? If they have a big page of those in the back, that seems like they’d “given away” the formula.

Yeah this seems to be a pretty lame idea… the only scratch off games DOND should ever do is with the lottery. This is like MILLIONAIRE, I used to love getting all their stuff when I was younger, but that keychain electronic game really was a silly idea… reading an entire question and four answers on like a 8 character screen was not the best idea.

Not much of his comments on this page makes sense, why should he start now?

Davec, I would imagine that the dollar values to be revealed will already be selected, unless they’re going the way of the atrocious DoND card game and offering random dollar amounts each round.

Buzzerblog hates the show. That makes it a 3:5 favorite to succeed.

Nah, it won’t go the same route as the QuickPlay game did.
