HI I WAS WONDERING IF DEAL OR NO DEAL WILL BE COMING BACK TO CANADA. IF I HAD APPLY LAST YEAR CAN I DO IT AGAIN. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO BE A PART OF THIS AND YOU WOULD NOT REGARD HAVING ME. BRIDGETT JONES-COLEY

Hey, that sounds like a great idea! Let one unlucky contestant play the "Banker" for a game and collect whatever "Deals" the player turns down. (However, each "Deal" has to be the average of all values left on the board. That way, the "Banker" can't make ridiculously high "Deals".)

Unless they fix the show (and start another round of the "quiz show scandals"), that may never happen. This show is based on luck, not skill. It all depends on the luck of the case.

Okay guys. The show is built on greed, persona, and a few minutes of fame. The first 30 minutes was entertaining, but fell when Wesley threw away 6 digit dollars. It would have been nice for him to get the $1 M, but greed simply outweighed sensibility. So we have clips of fainting people. Actually I was laughing. The Banker wins again! I want to be the Banker for an episode and get half his salary for the job. That may be more fun than playing the game.

Will there ever be a DOND episode (probably in the 2007-2008 season) where someone goes all the way and finally wins $1,000,000 and not 1 cent? The lowest anyone won all the way in the chosen case was $1!

I have to admit; I was almost to tears when the $1,000,000 was opened. This guy was the ideal Deal or No Deal contestant: He took big risks in order to win big money. He had a great story, a great personality, and guts of steel. Sorry it didn't work out for him.

I like that sweeps week idea, though didn't Millionaire do it as well? It'd be rather nice though, changes the game without actually changing anything if you get my drift.

(He says, coming from a country where game show prizes aren't taxed anyway.)

And there's absolutely no Trevor Bruce comparison here. Not in gameplay anyway, Trevor got hosed with a truly spectacularly low offer. Though in terms of pain, probably is comparable, and I think that's what Marc meant actually.

i applaud you, wesley!

(except for picking 14 when your family was saying 22! ECHOES OF RENEE STOKES!

the first INTERESTING show in weeks!

with that kind of board, inevitably the answer is DEAL, and it's so B-O-R-I-N-G! almost not worth watching!

124 out of 144 people have dealt. COWARDS!

Yeah, that's a great idea! You could run a special tax-free week during Tax-Free Weekend! You might also ruin our economy.

I'm thinking he may not have to pay taxes on the car becuase it was a gift from Chrysler or they may be paying the taxes for him.

Idea for a sweeps week: Deal or No Deal: Tax free week. All the winners receive winnings tax free i.e. NBC or Endemol pays it for them. and just for fun you could have an IRS person in the box with the banker.

Getting back to the game. What a shame. he should ahve stopped with $305,000 I actually surprised he even turned down the $167,000 (i think). His Poor wife she damn near fainted when the $1m got knocked out. The ending kind of reminded me of Trevor Bruce's game on the uk deal. For those, who haven't seen it his board had 1p, 50 pounds, 100 pounds, 250 pounds and 250,000 pounds and he turned down a dismal offer of 9,900 pounds and lost the 250,000. The game when dead silent for about 1 minute. and the lady who opened the 250,000 was in tears. Trevor left btw with 1p.
