“Dancing With The Stars” Week This Week on “Millionaire”
All Dancing With the Stars fans take note: the special Dancing With the Stars edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire begins this Monday, March 29th, and runs through the entire week. Host of Dancing, Tom Bergeron (who guest hosted Millionaire previously) will sit in as the Expert for Skype’s Ask the Expert all week. Celebrity questions will be read by Dancing personalities such as Cheryl Burke, Mark Ballas, Lacey Schwimmer, Chelsie Hightower, Derek Hough and Maksim Chmerkovskiy as well as judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. There will also be some video questions featuring memorable celebrity dances. For those that enjoy the ABC show, this really isn’t a week to miss. Disney-ABC has been nice enough to supply us with several videos to get you ready for it. Enjoy this first one, featuring Tom Bergeron. The results aren’t spoiled and the answer is given away, so it’s practically spoiler free.

Ok, WAY off topic but from the post involving the many multiple formats (Hot Seat, new clock format, etc.) I've been thinking about a new syndie format (just came to my mind.) For Season 9, the show could take a look towards Hot Seat with:
Six contestants playing at once
Fastest Finger back (three runs only. The rest of the contestants go straight to the hot seat depending on their times and answer scores)
Clock Format (our current format, as always)
Pass (single, reusable lifeline that allows contestants to give the question to the next person in line. Voided after passed on that question but available after the new question or if the contestant walks away/gets it wrong.)
And a new tree:
$1 Million*
$500,000
$250,000
$150,000 (formerly $100,000)
$50,000
$25,000*
$20,000 (formerly $15,000)
$15,000 (formerly $12,500)
$10,000
$7,500
$5,000*
$3,000
$2,000
$1,000
$500
