Dynamo Games is developing a version of “The Crystal Maze” for cell phones in Britain for release in late 2007. It will feature the Aztec, Industrial, Medieval, and Futuristic Zones. No further details are known.
The Americans did come over and had a shufti at the set, but when they saw all the hidden expenses (e.g. two people with fire extinguishers hiding behind the scenery at all times) they decided to pass.
Of course, now that game shows are prime time material it might be a different matter. However, if they couldn’t get Fort Boyard right then…

Good idea. Closest thing we had anything like that here would probably be Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Maybe cause we never had the show here in the states, be a commercial bomb to try to push it here
