Confirmed: GSN Picks Up “Camouflage” for 40 Episodes
It’s official now: GSN today announced the pickup of a new word game “Camouflage”. From Disney, the show is a game of word games, clues, and hidden answers and is going to have a 40 episode season. No word on a host yet. The show is set to begin production in May and will debut sometime in July. The show will give a clue a-la “Scrabble” (the TV version) that requires an answer that is hidden by a group of needless letters. If you read it left to right you can see the word, though. Letters will drop out as time goes on, but at the same time the point value does, so you have to be quick. For example, one puzzle word might be “LAPTOPICFLOORING,” with the clue “kitchen explosive.” Dropping the appropriate letters and reading left to right, “popcorn” is revealed as the hidden word. The show might air in an early slot such as 7:00PM ET, to be paired with “Lingo”.

Sounds like a revamped “Now You See It”
Hmm, this sounds like a great concept, the best one I’ve heard since “That’s the Question.”
Any show that slightly resembles Scrabble in any way is on my immediate good list. Now if only the real show itself, with GSN’s mascot Woolery were to return, GSN would be my most watched network again. :D
Can’t wait to see this! This my actually give “Camouflage” a good name in the game show world. Let’s face it, the first two, especially the Chuck Barris produced version were crap hidden picture games.
If you don’t believe me, just watch that “Cucumber” clip from one of the shows.
Hmm, the link from the second posting doesn’t go anywhere meaningful. Looks like a spammy sort of portal. (Links to “Texas map”? The hey?) May not be safe.
Is it like the other older version of camouflage(picture)
that show freaks, but if it isn’t going to be like that i might watch it
i really like ur show
janellerocks, from what I’ve seen, no. It’s more like “Now You See It” mixed with Woolery’s “Scrabble”.
The picture version involved trying to find the hidden object in a still image. Wasn’t a bad show but the presentation was just so cheesy.
GSN, the network of Word Games (not necessarily a bad thing), and stuff that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH GAMES ( AKA CATMINSTER!!!)
PS – Wahlberg is back on GSN for at least 2 eps, in their 3 card poker championships lol
