“Power of 10″ Pickup Nearly Certain
This comes from the desks of B&C (We meant to get this up early early early this morning but I was out): CBS has apparently picked up the new Michael Davies game show Power of 10 for Fall 2007. We tend to trust B&C, and the only reason it's nearly certain is because CBS will announce their official pickups tomorrow morning, so be on the lookout for official word tomorrow. The Power of 10 is basically Super Family Feud, people try to find out what a national survey said to a question to win up to $10,000,000. Can we declair the prize war on? Lots of CBS game show news to go over: Life as a Song by the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy production team sees people play out some key moments in their life as a musical. Not really a game show, but it's making me scratch my head regardless. Craig Ferguson, host of the Late Late Show is creating and hosting The Wizard which will have a combination of improv moments like Whose Line is it Anyway and scripted moments. Well it took people long enough, but other news sources like Variety have finally picked up on CBS's new game show pilot from Michael Davies called "The Power of 10". We already announced it was from CBS and for $10,000,000 previously. We have a small glimpse into the game play now, though. You have to guess the outcome of various national surveys, and once you do that, you move into the Power of 10 round where each correct answer is worth 10 times what you currently have, giving you a possible $10,000,000.

Michael Davies is doing a new show for CBS called "The Power of 10" which we briefly mentioned a bit ago. No official announcement about the show has been made (so it may still be scrapped; don't get angry at us), but we're getting reports that they are looking away at giving a top prize of $10,000,000 if you win the game.
