“Wheel of Fortune” Kicks Off 29th Season Tonight

Long running syndicated game show Wheel of Fortune opens its 29th season tonight.  Check your local listings.  Both Pat Sajak and Vanna White return trying to give away a million dollars to lucky puzzle solvers.  Nearly everything you saw last season returns.  One new feature is the "1/2 Car Tag".  If you can collect both of them by landing on them and calling a correct letter, regardless if you win the entire game, you get a car.  The tags will appear during the first three rounds.  A special partnership and sweepstakes with Sears, called the "Secret Santa Sweepstakes", will appear later this year and gives viewers a chance to win up to a million dollars nightly.  The show will also introduce new categories "Television Quote" and "Movie Quote" as well as visit Portland, Oregon, in March (it will air in May).  If you watch the show tonight be sure to let us know what you think.  Click here to give us your opinion.

“Family Feud” Debuts New Season Today

Get set: Family Feud is back for another season.  Steve Harvey returns as host after increasing ratings by over 30% from his previous season and jumping the show to third place, only behind Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!.  What should you expect this season?  More of the same comedy that literally brought hundreds of thousands more viewers to the show for starters.  Look for the audience to have a slightly different vibe as well.  The change from the Los Angeles to Orlando audience last season was noticeable.  Let's see how it goes with Atlanta audiences.  Beyond that, the show's working better than it ever has in this current version of Feud, so why mess with it?  The show's posted two previews of the upcoming season.  Check them out.  What did you think of the season debut? Did You Know That “Let’s Make A Deal” is Satanic? Thumbnail

Did You Know That “Let’s Make A Deal” is Satanic?

There's no way that title can be misconstrued.  Did you know that CBS's popular daytime game show Let's Make A Deal is satanic?  It is, according to this guy.  How is it?  It all starts because of the arches over the logo in positions to the letters.  Watching this is hysterical and terrifying.  However, I do come up with a challenge to you.  Can you think of any other game shows that could be satanic according to this nut's vision?  Let us know in as much detail as you can think of.  And no, the guy is not making a joke.  But I am.  What other game shows are satanic? Click here to tell us, and to see the video.

NBC’s “It’s Worth What?” Debuts Tonight at 8:00PM ET

Another new game show is entering the Summer primetime schedule tonight.  NBC will debut its newest effort, It's Worth What?, tonight at 8:00PM ET.  The show has had a long history dating back to GSN when it was under a more flea market-like format.  The current show is more like The Price is Right with antiques.  A couple attempts to build a bank by gauging which antiques or collectables are worth more than others.  The couple can win up to $1,000,000 throughout the show.  Let us know what you think of the show when it airs tonight.  Click here to write your review and let your voice be heard.

Reader Mailbag: How Do I Mail CBS About Rich Fields?

If you've noticed BuzzerBlog running slowly the past day or two, it's specifically regarding Rich Fields being let go from The Price is Right.  There is an unbelievably huge outcry of support of Rich Fields and anger that the former Price announcer was let go.  I wouldn't be bringing this up if it was the typical Price group of crazy people, but once you're getting tens of thousands of people, it's hard to ignore.  Again, this is solely because of the tens of thousands of people asking us for it. People have asked me where can they mail letters to in order to tell CBS they want Rich back. Someone close to the show gave me the exact information. The address to mail letters, plus statistics of the support, is after the break.

What Do You Want to See in the ABC “Millionaire” Revival? Thumbnail

What Do You Want to See in the ABC “Millionaire” Revival?

Slow news day, so let's do a fun opinion post.  This one's all on you ladies and gentlemen.  As you probably know by now, ABC confirmed the rumors and Who Wants to be a Millionaire? will be returning to the network on August 9th at 8:00PM ET with original host Regis Philbin also returning.  It seems basically everyone is excited, and rightly so.  The only statement which left speculation is, "the primetime version will be a hybrid of the original “Millionaire” and the tweaked version that now airs in syndication."  What this specifically means is anyone's guess right now.  Why not you guess?  What would you like to see from this revival? Let's be a bit realistic here.  I know some want a giant top prize, but we are in an economic str

No News Day: The Top Five Game Shows I’d Like to See Revived

There have been many game shows made over the years. Some were just appalling, others were fantastically awesome. Here's a few of the latter ones that I think deserve another chance. (Note: All shows that were considered for this list must have had no run aired in the United States or some version of it must have been off the air in the US for at least ten years.)

What’s The Deal With “Deal or No Deal”? It’s Great Again!

Warning: Minor, tiny spoilers from December 10th's Deal or No Deal ahead: Confession time: I haven't watched a single minute of Deal or No Deal this season at all.  I've just been bored sick with it.  Last season seemed to be a breaking point, where they just tried horrible gimmick after horrible gimmick.  It got frustrating, tiring, and nauseating.  Then we come
