NBC Prepares “Poker After Dark” for January 2nd
NBC's new daily poker series, "Poker After Dark" will debut on January 2nd at 2:05AM, the network has announced. The hour long show will be hosted by former "World Poker Tour" hostess Shana Hiatt. The show, which will pan out over an entire week, will see six poker pros battle each other for $120,000. On Saturday from 1AM to 2AM, a "director's cut" will be shown, recapping the week's events with more inside info and strategy. NBCU president Marc Graboff stated "There's a vibrant late night audience looking for original programming. We felt this inside look at the professional poker scene is perfect for late night television and those viewers seeking a unique and original broadcast."

NBC today announced their new nightly hour-long poker show "Poker After Dark". The show, hosted by Shana Hiatt (formerly of "World Poker Tour"), will debut on January 2nd at 2:05AM ET, which takes away a rerun of "The Tonight Show" if memory serves correct. "Poker After Dark" will be set in the back room of various casinos and will feature many poker greats playing for a winner-take-all $120,000 grand prize.
