I think GSN has to be female, because it seems to have its period of shuffling around the schedule every month. Here’s what’s going to happen in the week of October 6th. For the most part, it looks pretty good.
*Say goodbye to Bill Cullen’s Blockbusters on weekdays. In its place at 9:30AM ET is Tic Tac Dough. And with this, at 9:00AM ET is Match Game.
*Whammy! didn’t [...]
Well, we finally know who is hosting the new second half of GSN: Kelly Packard and Fred Roggin. Boy, GSN sure likes Fred these days. As for Kelly, she was the co-host of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not,” and she’s also played a little bit of “Pyramid.”
The three-hour extension of GSN Live premieres September 15.
We really need one of those “We Called It!” signs that The Colbert Report has. One of our good friends from England, David Howell, recently got back from a taping of the revival of the The Rich List. This new edition was taping on the English version set so we thank him greatly for going. A lot of really big shocking information was given [...]

We’ve known about these for a while, but just for safety we’ll talk about it again. GSN is planning a whole series of Play it Back: Game Shows marathons, celebrating different games from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Each Sunday night in September involves a different decade’s shows followed by a special hour long documentary about the best and funniest [...]

A press release for the second season of GSN’s Bingo America came out tonight. I have to be honest, even though I do like some of the changes, portions of it leave me confused. We’ll get to that in a minute. First off, reitterating what we said before, Richard Karn is the new host. I [...]
I’m about to give you a lot of opinions which conflict what I’ve written over and over in other articles during this post. First off, let’s get the facts straight. Bingo America, GSN’s hit interactive game show, is coming back. People are reading way too much into its removal from the schedule. GSN still gives away money to home viewers during the [...]
I spaced out about GSN’s new endeavor, GSN Radio, for a while yesterday by accident. I caught the last hour and I have to tell you, I was really impressed. It’s one of GSN’s best “from the ground up” projects. Right off the bat it’s very good. Probably because they have [...]
Did you forget about GSN’s million dollar cat game show and thought it was a nightmare? Yeah, I kinda wish I did too. But apparently it’s not, as GSN today announced Chuck Woolery will be hosting the spectacle. Chuck previously hosted GSN’s longest running original, Lingo, which was unceremoniously dumped in favor [...]

Fun end game on GSN’s Catch 21 last night. Check it out below. I really like this show a lot, but if it comes back for a second season (which I’m really hoping it does), it could use a bit of help production wise. That set change from front game to end [...]
Since the “Catch a Game” promos started, you may have noticed every now and then a plug for GSN Radio. If you went to the Radio page any time before this week, you either got a “page did not exist” or a “coming soon” message. Well, we finally have a premiere: August 18 (this Monday). [...]

Edit: I fixed the Sunday casino block schedule; sorry about the confusion, I overlooked that part in the original schedule excel file I was sent. World Poker Tour airs at 9:00PM ET and 1:00AM ET on Sundays. The other time slots that evening are High Stakes Poker.
GSN’s been doing a lot of rearranging recently. [...]

Thanks to the brilliant Brits at Bother’s Bar for this bit of information today. I enjoyed FOX’s The Rich List when it was on for that one hour episode. It got gobbled up by a total lack of faith from FOX, but deservedly so. I think making it an hour long million dollar game show [...]
A few weeks ago, we were informed that GSN Live, GSN’s daily interactive talk/game show, would not be expanding into the 3PM to 6PM hours until later this year. Apparently later this year meant a week or so later. We were just informed that the extension will start on September 15th and will focus on [...]

Don’t bored the doom and gloom train just yet, readers. GSN updated their schedules today and it’s only a small change. Whammy! will be replacing Bingo America weekdays at 7:00PM, and Pyramid will take Bingo America’s spot weekends at 4:30PM. Again, before everyone cries about the end and ratings which no one knows and that stuff, GSN is still giving out money to home viewers during the [...]

GSN has a few marathons and specials coming soon that you might be interested in. First, on Labor Day, a Press Your Luck marathon will be coming your way. From 9:00AM to 7:00PM you’ll see a large series of episodes which someone who knows the episode numbers would probably understand a lot more [...]
