Bob Eubanks Hosts Special Game Show Host “Newlywed Game” May 18th
If you've got GSN, you aren't going to want to miss The Newlywed Game Tuesday, May 18th, at 6:00PM ET. The show, now in its third season, is generally hosted by Carnie Wilson. However, she will quickly be taking a step away from the hosts podium and allow the legendary original host the show, Bob Eubanks, to take over.

“Newlywed Game” Season Three Debuts April 19th

Casting Call: “Newlywed Game” and a Twisted “Newlywed Game”
We wrote about this a bit yesterday, but let's put this in the marquis more. There's a casting notice going around for a new show that's a twist on the classic Newlywed Game format. In this version, not only will you and your spouse be competing, but your ex will be involved also. Right now the game is set to have a husband, his current wife, and his ex-wife. It's called Modern Marriage, and they are shooting a pilot soon for network executives. No idea who it's for, but a show like this really is regulated to somewhere on cable. If you want to be involved in it, click here. They are searching for trios currently. They are paying $400 to compete plus other cash prizes for winning the game.

Bob Eubanks Returns to “The Newlywed Game” Tonight on GSN
It's a pretty exciting night for those who like GSN's revival of The Newlywed Game. Host of the classic version Bob Eubanks will finally return to the host's podium, grilling couples on intimate details. Since Bob is hosting this special episode, current host Carnie Wilson will be a contestant along with her husband. Her opponents will be other members of her family. The winning family, like in the other numerous celebrity shows (so many it's incredibly annoying, which goes for Catch 21 as well), gets $10,000 for charity. Take a look below. The Newlywed Game really is Bob's game and it's great seeing him back finally since he's made it clear without outright saying it that he wanted to host this one.

Bob Eubanks Returns to Host “The Newlywed Game” January 7th on GSN
Bob Eubanks, the original host of The Newlywed Game, is returning to the set once again. GSN has invited Bob Eubanks to host a special celebrity edition of their hit game show on January 7th at 6:00PM ET and rerunning at 9:00PM ET. This makes Bob Eubanks the first host in TV history to host the same show in five different decades. Quite an accomplishment. Bob's original run of Newlywed Game aired from 1966 to 1974. He also hosted from 1977 to 1980, then from 1985 to 1988, 1997 to 1999, and finally now in 2010. He's easily the reason this format stayed popular with so many people so it's good to see him back. Ratings Report: All Are Up or Flat
We've finally got some good news for basically all the syndicated game shows. But first I want to start with Let's Make A Deal which is really the show to watch. As we reported on last time the ratings are not that bad. Obviously they aren't fantastic but they aren't bad. We've got some more figures for you courtesy of TV MoJoe. The ratings of LMAD versus the ratings of what it replaced, Guiding Light, are up 7%. It's at an average of around a 1.6. That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that it's down in the key women demo. In women 18-49 it's down 13% and in 25-54 it's down 20%. It's flat when we look at women 18-34 though. GSN’s David Schiff Discusses Season Two of “The Newlywed Game”
We've plugged it enough so you're most likely well aware that today is a pretty exciting day for The Newlywed Game. It's the first celebrity show of the season (is it the first celebrity show for the series ever?) with contestants George Takei and his husband Brad Altman along with Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry (Trivial Pursuit and America's Next Top Model); and finally Damien Gurganiousand wife Nicole Brewer who apparently lost a ton of weight on The Biggest Loser and were deemed celebrities for not being obese anymore. “Newlywed Game” and “Catch 21″ Begin New Seasons Tonight on GSN
We've had new game shows debuting just about every week since the beginning of September it seems. Tonight GSN is adding its new seasons to the mix. Two of its most popular games are back. Newlywed Game with Carnie Wilson and Catch 21 with Alfonso Ribiero and Mikki Padilla return at 6:00PM ET and 6:30PM ET with replays later that night. Both shows essentially stay the same from last season, but there's a lot of celebrity going around each. Bob Eubanks to Host Final “Newlywed Game” of Season on GSN
Well apparently you can't keep a secret in Hollywood, can you? Yes, former Newlywed Game host Bob Eubanks will indeed host the final episode of the second season of GSN's revival, which begins Monday, October 12th at 6:00PM ET, on GSN. I had a few audience members leak it to me and I was waiting for a press release where we knew me information than, "He's back! Holy crap!" But screw professionalism. I don't think we've been that high on it the past nearly five years. So this is going to be interesting to see. I enjoy Carnie Wilson, the current host. “Catch 21″ and “Newlywed Game” Add Celebrity Shows; “Newlywed Game” Brings First Gay Couple
If we can keep this a bit away from hardcore politics I'd be happy, but I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that Newlywed Game is adding the first gay couple in the show's history. Both Catch 21 and Newlywed Game are doing celebrity shows. Newlywed Game will feature several matches between celebrity couples such as Christopher Knight and Adrienne Curry, Glenn Cadrez and Brande Roderick, and most exciting to me George Takei and his husband Brad Altman. I'm glad the show is getting modern and inviting all marriages to fit with the current theme and feel. Of course I'm unbelievably liberal so those who aren't may have differing opinions.
