“High Stakes Poker” Season Three Info

GSN officially announced the third season line up of their smash hit television show "High Stakes Poker".  The new season, set to debut on Monday, January 15th, was filmed in the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and continues to be hosted with live play-by-play by Gabe Kaplan and A.J. Benza.  As a twist also, Mr. Kaplan will take a seat at the table while one of the players will take the role of host.  "High Stakes Poker", a one of its kind poker show, forces each competitor to buy in to the game with their own cash, ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000.  Players can put more money into the game after the buy in.  For instance, last season saw a dramatic loss of a $575,000 pot from Daniel Negreanu to Gus Hansen.  Here is th

New GSN Poker Specials

Two new poker specials from GSN are coming next month: UltimateBet.net Aruba Classic: December 8th at 10 PM EST Over 500 entered, but only 6 will make the final table, where over $2.6 million is at stake. Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, and poker expert John Vorhaus commentate this tournament. Best of High Stakes Poker: December 11th at 8 PM EST Just like it says, it's a best of show, plus there's scenes added in that haven't aired yet. On Monday, November 13th, GSN will be doing an all-evening marathon of it's second most popular series in the key 18-49 demographic ever, "High Stakes Poker" while promoting the new movie "Casino Royale", which hits theaters on November 17th.
